A Bit About Our Church
Founded in 1804, St. Paul's was the first Episcopal parish established in Troy, New York, and the mother church of all of the other Episcopal parishes in Troy. By 1826, the first church building was deemed inadequate and plans were laid to build a new church which was consecrated on August 16, 1828, by the Bishop of New York, The Right Reverend John Henry Hobart.
For over 200 years this parish has been a living witness to our faith that Christ has died, Christ is risen, and Christ will come again. We welcome you and invite you to join us in the faith and worship of the holy and undivided Trinity, the living God who makes himself known to us in his Incarnate Son, Jesus Christ.
